Dartmoor pasty pie
- 550g Chuck Steak (put through mincer once)
- 1 Large Onion (thin slice)
- 1 level tsp mixed herbs
- 1 medium to large potato (thin slice)
- 1 large turnip (thin slice)
- 1tblsp water
- Salt and Pepper
- Layer ingredients within pie case, seasoning each layer with salt, pepper and herbs.
- Cover with pastry lid and glaze with beaten egg.
- Bake at 200 degrees for 15 mins lower temp to 180 degrees and cook for further 1 1/2 hours.
- Can be served hot or cold.
