Dartmoor Farmers Association awarded the "Dartmoor First Award".

The Dartmoor Farmers Association received the inaugral "Business of the Month Award" from Dartmoor First.

The Dartmoor First Award is presented to Philip Coaker ,Chairman Dartmoor Farmers Association by Richard Drysdale ,Sustainable Development Officer,Dartmoor National Park Authority.

Dartmoor First was officially launched at the Dartmoor Partnership Showcase Day at the Two Bridges Hotel on Wednesday 13th May 2009. To receive this prestigeous award applicants have to meet criteria in the three areas of;

A Sense of Place ( landscape and diversity), A Precious Resource(waste, energy and water) and Living Landscape (economy, social and transport)
