Why Dartmoor Farmers Association Meat?

Without exception, the slow growing, slow maturing approach to rearing Dartmoor’s native, grass-fed livestock gives our meat exceptional flavour and quality.
 

Where has my meat come from?

Dartmoor Farmers Meat boxes consist of Beef and Lamb reared on the upland hills of Dartmoor by our membership of over 30 hill farmers .All of our meat has a full provenance and is reared in a totally sustainable and environmentally sensitive way.
 

Meat box packaging.

Your delivery will be made in a special insulated box . It will arrive chilled and will be vacuum packed (this keeps the meat sealed)
We have an optional box-return /recycle scheme at a small additional cost.
 

How will my box be delivered?

Our deliveries are made by professional couriers.
 

When are the normal delivery deadlines?

We pack and deliver twice a week.
Orders placed by 8pm on Sunday evening will be delivered the following Wednesday/ Thursday.
Orders placed by 8pm on Tuesday will be delivered on Friday.

A Farmers Tale

Tale of a Dartmoor Farmer - 2 Nov 2009

As autumn descends this mild weather has not only been spoiling us, but the ewes now either with the ram or waiting for his arrival are looking well, some would say too well! But if last winters cold and snow can stay away then hopefully those twin baring ewes won’t have to work quite as hard this winter.
